Why Greenery Weddings are Here to Stay

One of the largest decor trends in the wedding industry over the past few years has been the “lush greenery” look and it’s because this design choice speaks to many styles of bride- from boho, to romantic, to minimal + modern and even to the classically traditional. Rather than going with a floral heavy floral design, brides seem to be drawn to the simple, organic movement that flowing greenery offers. Plus it can be utilized throughout a wedding in MANY different ways: table runners, alter decor, welcome sign swags, crowns, chandeliers, aisle decor and even bridesmaids bouquets. While flowers forever have our hearts (occupational side effect), we can’t deny that some of our very favorite design days have involved being tangled in a box of smilax and driving scissor lifts to create the perfect greenery installation. On today’s blog we share our best “lush greenery” designs and the way our brides utilized this trend throughout their special day.

Hand- tied bouquets for a bride + her maids are the perfect way to incorporate a wedding’s theme and color scheme. Here we have two brides that embraced “lush greenery” by having their maids carry cascading, textured greenery-heavy bouquets.

We always reccomend to our brides going for dimensional statement pieces on reception guest tables. It adds interest to any room and helps tie in the event’s aesthetic throughout the evening.
