Finding your Couple Style through a Ceremony Space

Here at Bloomin’, we find the most gratifying element to designing a wedding day is the ceremony space. It’s where forever begins and a couple becomes one in front of friends and family. Being such a sentimental spot, we carefully select the best blooms and greenery to set this space apart from all others throughout the venue. From minimal, whimsical vine, to modern metal touches and lush florals, we always enjoy guiding our couples through their unique vision of a ceremony space. We’ve had fun creating many different styles of ceremony set up, so we thought we’d share some on the blog today!

For Callen + Brent we enjoyed creating a glamorous ceremony space at the Biltmore Ballrooms in Midtown, Atlanta. Complete with floral heavy, traditional designs and rose petals lining the aisles, this ceremony space was one of our more formal and elegant set ups.

Laura + Russel also went with a more formal, floral heavy look for their ceremony at The Foundry at Puritan Mill. Set up high on a white stage, this green + white arbor was the focal point of the venue all evening. Framing the couple during their vows and then the cake during dancing, this floral frame took three team members and several hours to complete. Well worth it though, don’t you think??

On the modern + minimal side of design, we have Addie + Andrew’s ceremony in the stables at Foxhall Resort. Here we hung gold metal hoops in front of elegant white draping to accomplish their dream ceremony space. These hoops were adorned with greenery and pops of flowers that echoed her bridal bouquet. Add a jean jacket + faux fur rug and you get the perfect boho chic ceremony space!

Changing event locations to The Paddock at Foxhall Resort,  we were able to create the perfect whimsical garden space for Nancy + Haoran and their 35 wedding guests. This intimate ceremony was framed by a circular arbor asymmetrically accented with flowers and movement-heavy greenery. Adding two large floral designs to welcome guests as they found their seats helped present that garden feel throughout the entire ceremony set up (the live string trio greatly contributed too ;). A unique choice with the circular arbor, this has definitely become one of our favorite ceremony set ups yet!

For some couples, less is more when it comes to a ceremony space. And we can certainly get on board with that when the views are as gorgeous as the ones at Blue Mountain Vineyards! Ashton + John Paul got married under blue skies in front of the rolling North Georgia mountains. Simply adorning the cross with an elegant floral design was an understated way of acknowledging the importance of the space without distracting from the natural beauty behind them.
