These days we work with a lot of brides facing the difficult decision to downsize their wedding. Between changing venues, altering guest counts and rethinking decor, their spirits remain relatively high (because you know, love + marriage) and we’re in awe of their resiliency!! But along the way in 2020 we did start to notice those brides who utilized a decor budget as if it were still intended for the larger venue ended up happier with the final design outcome of their intimate event. With a smaller guest count, brides are able to spread their flower budget throughout the venue more intentionally and really awe guests from alter arrangements to greenery springs on place settings. It’s all in the details and with a smaller event, every decor element shines that much brighter!
Bloomin’ bride Caroline went through the devastating process of downsizing from a mountain destination wedding, to a private elopement, to a rescheduled intimate wedding on the Marietta Square (we know many brides can relate). While the location, guest count and numerous other details changed 100 times she was very intentional with her floral decor and keeping it lush + flowing throughout the smaller venue. We think the end results speak for themselves, and based on the reactions of her close friends and family so does she!
