The Art of Love Styled Shoot

(Photography by: Lindsey LaRue)

The morning of a wedding can be the most precious time for the bride to connect with her family and friends. So when Melissa, founder of eMBee Events, came to Bloomin’ with the The Art of Love styled shoot we fell in love with her idea to draw focus to these special moments. The shoot was an intimate look into the brides morning before she takes her vows. The bride’s bouquet consisted of soft ivories, pinks, and greenery with pops of cabernet. Our bridesmaids bouquets were a reflection of their individual necklaces, given to them by the bride, to show her appreciation for their support in the past, that day, and the years to come. Each bridesmaid wore a different element. Basil, symbolizing love; Carrot, health; Chili Pepper, strength; and Olive, peace. While incorporating the elements into the bouquets proved to be a challenge we loved what each element symbolized and were thrilled to be a part of such a special shoot.

That is a special way to get back into the swing of things after a nice holiday break. Our very own, #maegforbloomin, took on this styled shoot and we are crazily excited about how beautiful it all turned out. Not to mention, the vendors we got to work with are some of the very best! Style Me Pretty Feature

(Photography by: Alea Moore)
(Planning & Styling by: Burke Design + Planning)

Summer is still in full swing over here with this beautiful shoot that was featured today on Style Me Pretty Living, with our very own, Maeghan Cranford, creating this bright floral design! As featured in the article, "A Summer Sendoff is a bright, bold and vivacious style shoot designed to embody the celebration of the end of summer. Taking place appropriately poolside, this party celebrates beating the heat with a crisp cocktail, your go-to pal and an outfit that matches your mood!" There are a few weeks left of summer, so be sure to gather some inspiration from this shoot to throw your own summer sendoff the perfect way!

Bespoke Bride Feature

(Photography by: Claire Diana)

We shared a blog not too long ago of a styled shoot we did with Love Gives Way and why it is important to us. We were excited to see that Bespoke Bride also wrote a blog about the styled shoot last week where our work was featured, but more importantly, just as their title says it- how we can defeat sex trafficking through radical love. It is definitely worth your time to read it and see how you can be a part of something bigger than the wedding industry itself.

Radical Love Styled Shoot

It is such an honor for us to be a Love Gives Way vendor. It is so easy to become overwhelmed with how we can fight injustice in this world, but we love partnering with Love Gives Way because they make it easy for us to do that. Love Gives Way rallies the wedding community around organizations that are fighting sex trafficking in 15 U.S. cities across the globe.  They do this by couples hiring Love Gives Way vendors for their wedding who then give back a portion of their profit to a nonprofit of their choice. So many times people think we are in this industry because ‘it is where all the money is’, but it is more than that because we are able to use our profits for something greater and couples are able to give their day for something greater all while educating those around us. One Love Gives Way couple was quoted saying, “It completely changed the way I looked at our wedding. This day suddenly became bigger than us, and we could use a day that is normally so self absorbed to help girls in our area who were hurting.” An amazing testimony.

We were able to be a small part of this styled shoot with other Love Gives Way vendors in November at Ambient + Studio before A Night of Giving Back. An evening that introduced the public to many of the organizations that Love Gives Way supports and a time to meet some of the local Atlanta vendors as well. The theme of the shoot was called Radical Love and the couple in the photos were a Love Gives Way couple too! Again, it is such an honor to be a part of an incredible organization that share such radical love themselves.

Peri Styled Shoot

(Photography by: Anna K)

We are THRILLED to finally be able to show this gorgeous styled shoot that was featured on Southern Weddings today! This shoot was inspired off of a painting called Peri by our friend Britt Bass. The Ruins at Kellum Valley Farms provide the perfect ambiance for a natural and organic celebration, which was a foundation for this shoot. The vendor team that worked on this shoot is just astounding. For more of their information & images, check out the feature here on Southern Weddings.

A styled shoot that we were a part of recently was just featured yesterday on Strictly Weddings. We loved the luxury that this shoot brought combining the english touch of the Bisham Manor with the splendor of a fairytale. For more images and vendors involved from this elegant shoot, check out the feature here on Strictly Weddings.

Styled Shoot: Gem Of A Bridesmaid

A few weeks ago, we were asked to be a part of a styled shoot that portrayed a bridal luncheon. I asked one of our Bloomin’ employees, Allison, who worked on the shoot to give me some thoughts and here is what she said...

We all know weddings are mostly about the bride, but towards the wedding date it is important for the bride to show how much she loves her bridesmaids by showering them with a luncheon. Lauren Carnes of Lauren Carnes Photography and Marilisa Schachinger of Chancey Charm envisioned a bright color scheme with gemstone aspects and completely pulled off a beautiful tablescape. My favorite part of the day, besides playing with florals and table linens, was watching members of the wedding industry shine in their specific roles. All of the vendors came to the shoot willing and able to bring their best work to the table. What I thought was going to be a normal workday turned into a day of collaborating with members of an awesome industry and making new friendships. It almost seemed like an actual bridesmaids luncheon!
