November 3rd means there’s only fifty eight days left in 2017! What a crazy awesome year it has been for Bloomin’ Bouquets. Thinking back at 2017 one of our most challenging installations to date was the flower wall we put together for The Letter Magazine back in August. The Letter Magazine, founded by Lauren Taylor, is a bi-annual print publication inspiring everyday women. It is a publication with a lot of heart and a whole lot of class so we were thrilled to take part in the magazines celebration at the amazing Citizen Supply space at Ponce City Market. Our project was to make a flower wall, sounds easy enough right?! Not exactly, the logistics of the wall proved to be a bit more challenging than expected. However, after many hours of trial and error we successfully completed our install and it was fabulous.

We love being a part of special events around the city, especially when it's raising awareness for a good cause. Atlanta High Fashion Bridal: A Runway and Concert Benefit Event thrown by Atlanta Wedding and Event Professionals was created to to bring awareness to causes doing amazing work in our communities and showcase the amazing talent of Atlanta Wedding and Event Professionals to emphasize the importance of collaboration over competition, which creates an environment we can all thrive. It was a night of fashion, libations, and philanthropy. Bloomin' Bouquets had the fortune to make some dramatic accessories for the models to wear while they walked down the runway. The talented Nikki Loraine wrapped up the fashion show after which guests were invited to mingle and take part in a silent auction where one hundred percent of the proceeds went to The Giving Kitchen and Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition Fund. At Bloomin' we are so thankful for the opportunity to flex our creative muscle and step out of the ordinary. Thank you to the Atlanta Wedding and Event Professionals for inviting us to take part in the event and a special shout out to Anastasia for styling the event and collaborating with us, you killed it girl!  Just a few blocks from downtown Alpharetta on top of a hill sits an adorable little cottage Bloomin’ Bouquets now calls home. It took seven years for Bloomin’ to move out of a basement and into its very own space but oh was it worth the wait. One of my favorite details is all the natural light that flows in from every window filling the rooms. Of course like many things, the studio is a work in progress adding a plant here a picture there but it’s certainly an over due upgrade for the Bloomin’ team. Little details like our adorable aprons help breath life into the new space and show off the work of other creatives we’ve had the pleasure to collaborate with. We hope you'll come see it one day but until then you can check out some photos of the studio.
